Yesterday me and my cousin and Aunt went to church...hard lesson for me and hard word's from my Aunt on the lesson taught.
My mom gave me a word in a recent situation that came up and basically just spoke blessing and encouragement over me and in the way I'm growing in the Lord! <3 I cryed on that phone call...(Love you, Mom!)
Then today I read this and this hit me right at the heart....Miss Jasmine Baucham wrote a post on "God gives us Answers..via Ten booms."
"Corrie," he began instead, "do you know what hurts so very much? It's love. Love is the strongest force in the world, and when it is blocked that means pain.
"There are two things we can do when this happens. We can kill the love so that it stops hurting. But then of course part of us dies, too. Or, Corrie, we can ask God to open up another route for that love to travel.
The whole post is about learning to love others in God's love! Which has definitely been hard for me...for I have learned the human way of love and the lie of its natural to be and act on this saying "Its okay not to love that person as long as you like them and are friendly to her/him." I did not know how much I received that till I read Jasmine's post. For God says to love others as you love your self...but the thing we miss in those verses is..love that person through God's love not human...human love will never succeed in the type of way you are trying to love in...it will only bring the opposite.
I have tried to love in God's way..but it has never worked for me...because I was still using the dynamics of Human love. You can never love in God's way if you do not know what true love looks like. It is not roses and cards or mushy names...or the buying of gifts.
True love is unselfish with no pride or selfish desire of own interest, it is a work of dealings that you do for another...but not by the way of Gifts but by the way of looking at that person's heart and reaching out and speaking to them throe the words of God.
True love does not alter when one ignores you or when one hates you it pushes through and fights to the end of that thought that says "He hates you! No reason to love him, no reason, no reason at all." you do have a reason to love that person..for the same reason as to walk away..the person who can't stand you is the one who needs love most! Christ centered love...everlasting-ever fulfilling-Love! God had no reason to love us, he could of left Us to be thrown to the wolfs...to the pit of Hell. But instead he took mortal souls and sinful beings and decide to love us, who, by any other could not truly love us. God died for love...he died for his bride. A bride that came from the dirty streets, the other side of the tracks, he fell in love with her, even though he was a prince who was spotless...Satan saw the hidden jewel in the dirty soul of the bride and decide to take her for his own...but God saw this bride and so did Jesus and Jesus feel in love with the bride and died for her as the price of getting her back! Are we willing to die for our brother in that unconditional love? To look past the sin?
These are my thoughts...right out of my heart.
May God bless the sinful bride that he dressed in jewels.
