Amazing Grace

William Wilberforce: It's God. I have 10,000 engagements of state today but I would prefer to spend the day out here getting a wet arse, studying dandelions and marveling at... bloody spider's webs.
Richard the Butler: You found God, sir?
William Wilberforce: I think He found me. You have any idea how inconvenient that is? How idiotic it will sound? I have a political career glittering ahead of me, and in my heart I want spider's webs.
Richard the Butler: [sitting down next to WW] "It is a sad fate for a man to die too well known to everybody else and still unknown to himself." Francis Bacon. I don't just dust your books, sir.
"Amazing Grace" is one of my favorite films, not only do I love the time period but, the story is so encouraging to me! Here is this young man going against all odds for the sake to free people and please God! The conversation above is one of my favorite scenes of the whole movie. Because its true, you find yourself sitting outside admiring creation when you have millions of things to do but, stoping and resting to soak in the magnifance of God that sourounds you, is the most imporant, life changing, part of your day... So refreshing! Don't you just love Him!

Well going to go watch "Pride and Prejudice" with my four year old cousin... Yes, he loves the movie more than I do! ;)

Sincerely,
Kassidy
